Hi, SO here is the critique I promised you. Please note that the opinions expressed are my own truths, and might not be the truth seen through your eyes.

I have a few things to say about this piece. Overall the Idea and concept of this piece I would give a 3 out of 5. I say that because it is not THAT original (as worrior woman has been done many a times) but yours do have a bit of something different to it.

You're main fault, and this will only get better with time and practise, is your skill.

I can tell that you soft round brush mostly ( except for with the clouds, guessing thats a brushon it's own, if not WELL DONE!!!) The using of a soft round brush is a mistake most (and I am sorry for this word) amateur digital painters used. I myself have only discovered this trick just a while ago. Use a harder brush, still round. But that with give the edges more definition and more texture and at the end of the day will make it look more realistic and refined.

Lighting is another problem we are experiencing here. You got the overall idea right. The left side darker than the right side because the side from which the lightning is coming shold be your main light source. So that tells me that you do have some skills and with time will become great (and a little help here and there) But now you made the right side of her face overall lighter. I few highlights would've worked great, everywhere where you already made highlights, but just with a harder brush and smaller, so it's more prominant.

Color scheme... learn your color wheel and which colors work well together. I have found that chooing to main colors and then working around them works the best. I'm not saying you should ONLY use two colors in your painting, but use to main colors, and let the rest pblend in with those.

I hope this was helpfull and that I didn't say anything to offend you!!

Regards
Leana
